The Movement offers innovative sustainable and 100 per cent traceable fibre and yarn solutions for the textile industry. Its unique knitting fibre blend is less harmful than acrylic but retains its feel.
Expanding the network of Polylana yarn spinners has always been part of the long-term plan for the The Movement. Finding nominated spinning partners for Polylana yarn was key for the company to make Polylana yarn available for European knitters, brand director of Polylana Fiber at The Movement Tatiana Ponce Carmona said in a post on the official website.
Alpes, based in Northern Italy, represents one of the largest groups within the European yarn market. It now specialises in Polylana Fiber with wool blends. Karacasu Tekstil has been a staple of Turkish textile since 1996, and its dedication towards sustainability has linked it to Polylana Fiber. It specialises in yarn from Polylana Fiber with cotton-blend.
By expanding its spinner network onto new shores, the Polylana Fiber team hopes to extend the reach of its eco-efficient Polylana knitting yarn and offer the opportunity for brands and retailers to source and produce more locally than ever before, Carmona said in the post.
