A Pakistan Textile Exporters Association (PTEA) delegation led by its chairman Shaiq Jawed met adviser to the prime minister on finance Miftah Ismail recently to discuss issues related to textile exports in the country and requested him for fast processing of tax refund and drawback cases to resolve liquidity issues faced by exporters and manufacturers.

The delegation also requested for a smooth supply of energy and electricity to the textile industry on uniform and economical rates for optimal production, according to Pakistani media reports.
