AATCC research committee meetings have always a valuable opportunity for textile industry stakeholders to influence the future of testing, standards, and more, AATCC said in a press release. Research committees develop and maintain the standards used around the world to ensure quality textile products and accurate labeling.
AATCC is the world’s leading not-for-profit association serving textile professionals since 1921. It provides test method development, quality control materials, and professional networking for members in about 50 countries throughout the world.
AATCC will also host a Textile Discover Summit and a tour of its technical centre featuring displays of historic documents, photos, and artifacts. A time capsule from 1964 will be opened and a new one will be deposited for future generations at the event.
The summit kick-starting from November 16 with presentations, demonstrations, exhibits, breakout sessions, panels, awards will run through November 18. The tour and AATCC board of directors meeting will take place on November 19.
Apart from committee meetings, AATCC will also host administrative meetings which will be held virtually between October 19 and 22. Committees meeting in October include C2-S1 International Test Methods, C7 Publications, C6 Membership, C11 Conferences, and C17 Education Advisory Board.
