The Surat market witnessed a rise of ₹3-4 per kg in polyester yarn prices over the last week. A trader from the Surat market informed Fibre2Fashion, “Local manufacturers increased polyester fibre prices as the implementation of the Quality Control Order (QCO) has restricted imports from other countries. Seasonal demand also supported market sentiments.”

According to market sources, PC yarn prices eased after a drop in natural fibre prices in both domestic and global markets, falling up to ₹4-5 per kg in the last couple of days.
