Spain’s consumer price index (CPI) is estimated to see an annual inflation rate of 3.5 per cent in October 2023, as per the National Statistics Institute’s (NSI) flash indicator.Should these preliminary figures be confirmed, it would signify that the annual rate of inflation has remained stable, as the rate for September 2023 was also 3.5 per cent. Meanwhile, the estimated annual underlying inflation rate decreased by six-tenths, standing at 5.2 per cent, NSI said in a press release.

If confirmed, this means the inflation rate remains unchanged from September 2023.
The country's underlying annual inflation rate saw a slight decrease to 5.2 per cent.
On a monthly basis, consumer prices rose by a modest 0.3 per cent in October 2023.
In terms of monthly figures, consumer prices saw a moderate increase of 0.3 per cent in October 2023 compared to the previous month.
