JPDA engaged as Passive House Designers have worked in collaboration with the team of local architects and engineers under the guidance and detailed energy modelling by Steven Winter Associates. The factory has been renovated according to the EnerPHit standards for efficiency. EnerPHit is the established standard for refurbishment of existing buildings using Passive House components.
The renovated factory will help in reducing the usage of primary energy by 75 per cent, while providing occupants with a temperate, comfortable working environment. (RR)
