Egypt’s textile exports increased by about 12 per cent, while imports declined by 59 per cent this year compared to the same period last year, according to minister of trade and industry Tarek Kabil, who said the ministry is preparing a national strategy for the textiles, spinning, and ready-made clothing industry covering all stages of production.
