The company exhibited at the expo for the third time in 2015 in collaboration with ten fabric manufacturers - Boselli, Fidvi, Pugi, Mario Cavelli, Piovani, Velvetex, Baumann Dekor, Engelbert Stieger, Muller Zell and Spandauer Velours. Its partners exhibited their latest products made using its bi-component filament yarns from Trevira with functional properties like flame retarding properties, haptic and acoustic properties, etc.
The company also announced that the Trevira CS Jobber Day will be held in New York this November, which will be a platform for European manufacturers to present their collections to American fabric suppliers.
The joint stand concept was well-received by Trevira as well as its partner fabric manufacturers. "We were happy making our decision to participate at MoOD, and in October, we will be at the Trevira CS Jobber Day too," Marco De Benedetti, international sales manager with Tessitura E Boselli commented. "We hope to see an expansion of Trevira's offer, both with regards to events and products."
Trevira's yarn partners - Lei-Tsu, Tintoria Sala and Vlnap also exhibited at MoOD. "An excellent atmosphere of cooperation, including the exchange of ideas, has developed between the participants. As a yarn finisher at the start of the supply chain, I find it particularly helpful that we now have good relations with suppliers at the end of the chain, where there would normally be no direct contact between us," CEO of the yarn manufacturer, Lei Tsu commented.
The company had also participated in Intertextile Shanghai Home Textiles fair in August. (MCJ)
