Turkiye’s gross domestic product (GDP) with chain-linked volume index increased by 2.1 per cent year on year (YoY) in the third quarter (Q3) this year to $357.989 billion, according to the Turkish Statistical Institute (Turkstat). Calendar-adjusted GDP with chain-linked volume index increased by 1.9 per cent YoY in the quarter.Seasonally- and calendar-adjusted GDP with chain linked volume index decreased by 0.2 per cent quarter on quarter (QoQ) in Q3 2024.
Final consumption expenditure of resident households increased by 3.1 per cent YoY, government final consumption expenditure decreased by 0.9 per cent YoY and gross fixed capital formation decreased by 0.8 per cent YoY in Q3 2024 in the chained-linked volume index, a Turkstat release said.
