The export unit value index for manufactured goods (except food, beverages and tobacco) increased by 2.5 per cent YoY in the month, and those for crude materials (except fuels) and fuels decreased by 11.8 per cent YoY and 38.2 per cent YoY respectively, according to data from the Turkish Statistical Institute.
The export volume index for manufactured goods (except food, beverages and tobacco) increased by 13.4 per cent YoY.
The import unit value index for manufactured goods (except food, beverages and tobacco) decreased by 7.1 per cent YoY during the month. The import volume index for manufactured goods (except food, beverages and tobacco) increased by 38.6 per cent YoY.
The calendar- and seasonally-adjusted export volume index, which was 144.8 in April this year, decreased by 1.2 per cent to 143.0 in May.
The calendar- and seasonally-adjusted import volume index, which was 133.2 in April, increased by 0.3 per cent to 133.6 in May.
