When looking at June to August 2024, payrolled employees in the country rose by 3,000, or 0 per cent, quarter on quarter (QoQ) and by 203,000, or 0.7 per cent, YoY.
The provisional estimate of payrolled employees for September this year decreased by 15,000, or 0 per cent, month on month (MoM), but increased by 113,000, or 0.4 per cent, YoY to 30.3 million.

The estimated number of vacancies in the country decreased in July-September this year by 34,000 QoQ to 841,000. Vacancies decreased QoQ for the 27th consecutive period, but are still above pre-COVID-19 pandemic levels.
