Rickman joins the ICA board after replacing William Barksdale who will be focusing on non-cotton areas of Cargill’s business. In the last four years, the ICA has moved from zero to five women on its board of 24, ICA said.
Rickman was earlier a solutions manager at Cargill Cotton, a business unit of Cargill Inc. She comes with around 30 years of professional experience. The new ICA associate director graduated from the University of Memphis with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in 1996.
In her older role as customer solutions manager, Rickman provided customer solutions, focusing on strategic projects primarily on traceable and sustainable textile supply chains. Prior to that, as global operations manager, she oversaw global operations including warehousing, logistics, forwarding, and inventory management.
