Advance estimates of US’ retail sales, adjusted for seasonal variation and holiday and trading-day differences, for November 2022 decreased by 0.6 per cent month-on-month (MoM) to $689.4 billion, according to the data from the US Census Bureau. The country’s retail sales in November 2022 increased by 6.5 per cent, compared to November 2021.Total sales for the September 2022 through November 2022 period were up 7.7 per cent from the same period a year ago. The September 2022 to October 2022 per cent change was unrevised from up 1.3 per cent, as per the US Census Bureau.
The country’s retail trade sales in November 2022 were down 0.8 per cent from October 2022, but up 5.4 per cent compared to the corresponding period of last year.
