Indian textile manufacturer Arvind Ltd has reported revenue from operations of ₹1,921.73 crore in the second quarter of fiscal 2024 (Q2 FY24), marking a decrease of 11.43 per cent from ₹2,169.81 crore in Q2 FY23. The profit figures also took a hit, dropping by a substantial 36 per cent YoY. Arvind Ltd reported profits of ₹84.19 crore in Q2 FY24, as compared to ₹127.79 crore in the same quarter of the previous fiscal.The company's total income for Q2 FY24 stood at ₹1,933.46 crore. On the expenditure front, the company incurred costs amounting to ₹1,821.72 crore during the quarter.

Arvind's revenue from textile's segment also declined to ₹1,455.32 crore.
Arvind Ltd also disclosed its earnings per share (EPS), both basic and diluted, which came in at ₹2.99, the company said in a media release.
Notably, the textiles segment, a key revenue generator for the firm, reported a decline as well. Revenue from textiles for Q2 FY24 was at ₹1,455.32 crore, a drop when compared to ₹1,758.98 crore in Q2 FY23.
