Overall export unit value index in Turkiye falls by 1.8% YoY in Aug

Turkiye's overall export unit value index decreased by 1.8 per cent year on year (YoY) in August this year, while the overall export volume index increased by 3.4 per cent YoY during the month.
The overall import unit value index decreased by 16.1 per cent YoY in the month and the overall import volume index increased by 10.9 per cent YoY.

Turkiye’s overall export unit value index decreased by 1.8 per cent year on year (YoY) in August this year. The export index increased by 0.8 per cent YoY for manufactured goods, barring food, beverages and tobacco, in the month. It fell by 19.9 per cent YoY for fuels.

The overall export volume index increased by 3.4 per cent YoY during the month. The export volume index increased by 28.3 per cent YoY for fuels and increased by 0.3 per cent for manufactured goods, except food, beverages and tobacco, an official release said.

The overall import unit value index decreased by 16.1 per cent YoY in the month. The import unit value index decreased by 46.1 per cent YoY for fuels and decreased by 4.4 per cent YoY for manufactured goods, except food, beverages and tobacco.

The overall import volume index increased by 10.9 per cent YoY in August. The import volume index increased by 13.2 per cent YoY for fuels and increased by 11.5 per cent for manufactured goods, except food, beverages and tobacco.
