Ho Chi Minh City in Vietnam is set to have several logistics centres constructed by 2025, as per the Office of the Municipal People’s Committee. Seven of these centres will be built in locations including Thu Duc City Hi-Tech Park, Cat Lai, Long Binh, Linh Trung, Cu Chi, Hiep Phuoc, and Tan Kien.The southern metropolis also aims to attract investment for four additional projects. The city’s target is to boost logistics revenue growth to 15 per cent by 2025 and 20 per cent by 2030.
The logistics sector is predicted to contribute 10 per cent to the city’s gross regional domestic product (GRDP) by 2025 and increase to 12 per cent by 2030.
