Cambodia's gross domestic product (GDP) per capita in 2025 is expected to rise to $2,924—a rise of over 40 per cent over the projected 2024 figures, while economic growth is expected to reach 6.3 per cent, according to the office of the council of ministers.

This would bring the current GDP to nearly 209,163 billion riel, or $51.398 billion.

The industrial sector is projected to grow by 8.6 per cent, the service sector by 5.6 per cent and the agriculture sector by 1.1 per cent, a release from the cabinet said.

Inflation, meanwhile, is expected to remain at around 2.5 per cent, with the social sector continuing to be prioritized, a domestic media outlet reported.

In the first nine months this year, foreign trade volume of Cambodia reached $40.94 billion—a 16.4 per cent year-on-year (YoY) increase. During this period, exports totalled $19.83 billion—up by 17 per cent YoY, while imports were $21.11 billion—up by 15.9 per cent YoY.
