According to Fibre2Fashion’s market insight tool TexPro, Chinese import of yarn reduced to $474.124 million in June from $597.718 million in May. The import of May was higher than $555.957 million of April 2022. The import had witnessed high fluctuations in previous months. The import was $558.953 million in March, $438.329 million in February and $675.143 million in January 2022. China has imported yarn of $3.3 billion in first half of this year. The country had imported yarn of $8.067 billion in 2021, $5.921 billion in 2020 and $7.019 billion in 2019.
Chinese import of fibre reduced to $931.913 million in June from $1002.026 million of May. The import was higher in May compared to $834.018 million of April 2022. The import was $858.924 million in March, $754.739 million in February and $1004.732 million in January 2022. China has imported fibre of $5.386 billion in first half of this year. The country had imported yarn of $8.905 billion in 2021, $7.229 billion in 2020 and $8,617 billion in 2019, as per TexPro.
Chinese import of fabric reduced to $240.068 million in June from $303.937 million of May 2022. The import of May was higher than $263.926 million of April 2022. The import was $294.736 million in March, $211.490 million in February and $240.375 million in January 2022. China imported fabric of $1.556 billion in first half of this year. The country had imported fabric of $3.778 billion in 2021, $3.239 billion in 2020 and $4.606 billion in 2019.
