Spandex prices plummet over 8% in China amid weak global demand

  • The FOB price of 20D spandex fell to $5 per kg from $5.45 per kg in December 2023.
  • Domestic prices saw a similar decline, with spandex now at $4.17 per kg, down from $4.70 per kg.
  • China remains the leading producer and supplier of spandex globally.
