The ERP went live last month with some essential modules, and is expected to be fully functional by the end of December 2015, WFX said in a statement.
“We looked into several options to have an integrated ERP solution for major business clusters of the Group. WFX appeared to be a very flexible platform in terms of our specific business requirements. Also, our existing business software and tools, like FastReact and HR module will have seamlessly integration with WFX,” said Senthil Selvan, director Operations–SQ Group.
SQ Group is striving to further improve productivity and process excellence and as part of this initiative the Group is implementing WFX Cloud ERP software across all product categories and divisions to strengthen operations. The Group expects the implementation of ERP will set the stage for the company to achieve a 300 per cent growth target in 5 years.
The key aspects of the 100 per cent web-based ERP from WFX include product development and lifecycle management, effective costing with budget control tools to reduce material cost, on-line collaboration and cost-effective sourcing, optimum utilisation of production capacity, centralised database, production tracking tools to increase output and drive out associated inefficiencies, and greater performance analysis and accountability through tracking of costing, budgeting and execution of orders.
