Leading children’s clothing brand headquartered in France, Tape à l'Œil (TAO), part of the Mulliez galaxy, has chosen the collaborative supply chain platform, Winddle, to rationalise and optimise the monitoring of its supply chain operations, as part of a global restructuring of its information systems and the implementation of the new SAP S/4 Hana ERP.
To support its objectives of reaching operational excellence and improving global supply chain performance, TAO was looking for a collaborative and end-to-end purchase orders and shipments management solution. TAO has decided to implement Winddle simultaneously with its new ERP (SAP S/4 Hana), as the two solutions bring a clear complementary value; the transactional PO and master data management are done in SAP, and the daily supply chain execution in Winddle, both solution being tightly integrated to ensure synchronised and effective data visibility for the whole organisation, according to Winddle.Leading children's clothing brand headquartered in France, Tape à l'Œil (TAO), part of the Mulliez galaxy, has chosen the collaborative supply chain platform, Winddle, to rationalise and optimise the monitoring of its supply chain operations, as part of a global restructuring of its information systems and the implementation of the new SAP S/4 Hana ERP.#
TAO has also connected Winddle to its PLM solution, Centric Software, to ensure a smooth and direct link between product development process and purchase order follow-up.
“Our supply chain organisation involves many counterparts, internally and externally, located all around the world. Both for our teams’ and partners’ productivity and the agility of our supply operations, the implementation of a collaborative supply chain management solution is a must have. Winddle’s end-to-end approach provides the real-time visibility and the control we need to better satisfy our customers. We have been convinced by Winddle’s business expertise and its ability to efficiently structure TAO various operational processes. The solution is a real support for the group’s evolution,” Arnaud Duthilleul, supply chain director of TAO said in a Winddle press release.
“The needs related to the daily monitoring of import flows were initially part of our ERP specifications. We realised that they are in fact distinct functional perimeters, outside the core business of ERPs, focused on the management of transactional information. Winddle really allows us to follow the daily management, with the challenges of frequent date changes, document exchanges, and co-ordination of many players. I’m delighted with this best-of-breed approach, which brings us the best in each perimeter,” Duthilleul said.
“We are very pleased with this new project with a brand from the Mulliez group. The TAO teams are driven by a desire for dynamism and efficiency, in line with what Winddle brings them from a technological and organisational point of view,” Emilia Jevakhoff, CEO of Winddle said.
