Benetton Group has chosen to implement the Unified Commerce and Global POS Cegid Retail solution to accelerate the digital and multichannel transformation and be able to simplify purchases for its customers, the two companies said in a joint media release.
The collaboration of these two companies began in 2019 with 4 pilot stores, which grew to 29 in 2020. The Benetton Group has now decided to adopt the Cegid solution for its network of 1,358 stores in 26 countries. The companies aim to digitise the stores, empower sales personnel at the stores and deliver a stress-free shopping experience to customers.
“The Benetton Group has opted for the complete solution of our Cegid Retail platform, which is characterised by a modular architecture capable of reducing delivery times and being increasingly agile, making processes that are usually very complex simple,” said Mario Davalli, Cegid country manager for Southern Europe.
