The British Fashion Council has revealed the winners of The Fashion Awards 2024 presented by Pandora (TFA). TFA, organised by the BFC, is a key fundraiser for the BFC Foundation and celebrates the role of fashion at the intersection of culture and entertainment, spotlighting creative talent and telling the stories of the year in fashion.

A total of 16 TFA nominees and winners are voted for by an international judging panel of industry experts. The Designer of the Year Award recognises a designer whose innovative collections have significantly influenced the fashion industry. This year’s winner is Jonathan Anderson, celebrated for his work with JW Anderson and Loewe, which have had a profound impact on global fashion.

The Model of the Year Award recognises a model whose influence has transcended the catwalk over the past year. This year’s winner is Alex Consani, celebrated for their global impact in the fashion industry.

The British Menswear Designer Award recognises a British designer who has made a significant global impact with innovative designs. This year’s winner is Grace Wales Bonner, honoured for her work with Wales Bonner, shaping the international menswear landscape.

The Cultural Innovator Award recognises a leading innovator in the entertainment industry who has created viral fashion moments with a profound impact on fashion and culture. This year’s winner is A$AP Rocky, celebrated for his influence on fashion and pop culture over the past year.

The Pandora Leader of Change Award honours an individual who leads with innovation to create positive global change, challenges the status quo, and empowers through progressive, forward-thinking work. This year’s winner is Issa Rae, recognised for her commitment to authentic representation and using her platform to shift perceptions.

The Trailblazer Award celebrates innovators and creatives whose work has significantly shaped the fashion industry in the past year. This year’s winner is Remo Ruffini, recognised for his impactful contributions to fashion. The Special Recognition Award honours exceptional contributions to the fashion industry. This year’s winners are Nan Goldin and Gucci, recognised for their outstanding impact and influence on the fashion world.

The Isabella Blow Award for Fashion Creator recognises the best innovators and creatives in fashion, celebrating those whose contributions have transformed the industry. This year’s winner is Tyler Mitchell, honoured for his invaluable impact on the fashion landscape.

The British Accessories Designer Award recognises the best innovators in fashion, celebrating those whose contributions have significantly impacted the industry. This year’s winner is Stephen Jones, honoured for his invaluable contributions to the fashion landscape.

The BFC Foundation Designer Award recognises a designer from the BFC Foundation initiative who has had a major impact on global fashion in the past year. This year’s winners are Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena for Chopova Lowena, celebrated for their influential contributions to the fashion industry.

The New Establishment Womenswear Award recognises a womenswear designer who has created a new movement in British fashion and made a sustained global impact. As well as recognising designers and industry leaders, TFA celebrated this year’s New Wave: Creatives cohort through a special film created by Matte Projects. The accolade represents 50 of the most innovative and inspiring young creative talents from around the world spanning continents and creative disciplines. The award pays homage to the incredible success of both home-grown and international talent; while celebrating all those who play a vital role in the industry’s cultural and creative reputation.
