The R|Elan presents JJ V Kapurthala collection represents a harmonious fusion of tradition and innovation, where luxury intertwines with conscience, promising an unforgettable showcase of style and ethos.

"RIL’s collaboration with JJ Valaya's JJV. Kapurthala exemplifies our commitment to nurturing the best talent while advancing sustainability and circularity in the textile and fashion industry. JJV. Kapurthala by JJ Valaya is the epitome of regal sophistication intertwined with contemporary wanderlust. Inspired by the travelogues of the illustrious Maharaja Jagatjit Singh of Kapurthala, JJV is a homage to a bygone era of opulence and global influences blended into a modern statement. By delving into the Maharaja's personal diaries and rare photographs, JJV intricately weaves narratives of a visionary ruler who transcended borders, unifying cultures in an exquisite symphony of elegance and grace. The bridge-to-luxury collection speaks to the discerning traveller who believes in celebrating in style albeit without the burden of heavy embellishments, the company said in a press release.

In collaboration with R|Elan, JJV embraces eco-conscious fabrics such R|Elan GreenGold, crafted from recycled PET bottles, and innovative technologies such as R|Elan Kooltex, ensuring both style and sustainability. From reducing textile waste to enhancing garment performance, JJV seamlessly integrates ethical practices into its design ethos.

This season’s collection from JJVKapurthala called ‘Char’encompasses the perennial spirit of travel dressing for occasions, which also defines the core of the brand ideology. Loosely inspired by the travelogues of Maharaja Jagatjit Singh of Kapurthala, the collection weaves sophisticated tales of subdued grandeur and modern heritage. Each garment whispers secrets of distant lands, capturing the essence of wanderlust in every stitch.

A potpourri of cultures, celebrating diversity and unity in a symphony of colors and textures remain the hallmarks of JJV season after season. In addition to this season’s collection, JJV’s perennial signature, the Shifting Leaves Chevron also makes an appearance as a small collection of stylish statements.

“It’s always a pleasure to work with exquisite fabrics whilst putting together a new line and if that fabric happens to be a champion of sustainability, then the journey becomes all the more special! R|Elan fabrics have lent themselves beautifully to our prints and cuts and through their versatility and diverse weights, have been highly adaptable to various silhouettes from our stable,” designer JJ Valaya said.
