But the driving force and the inspiration behind the inception of this modern corporation was Late Dahyabhai Panchal, father of GD Panchal. Having honed his expertise with one of the leading corporations for close to four and a half decades, Dahyabhai Panchal not only guided GD Panchal in terms of career path, but also nurtured him with climate control excellence. After his engineering degree in the field of Air-Conditioning and Refrigeration from the reputed L D Engineering College, Ahmedabad, he stepped into his father’s role in the same company in 1977, as a Design & Production Engineer. With excellence embedded in his genes, he climbed up the professional ladder at a rapid pace. With his giant progressive strides, GD Panchal soon realised that he had the potential to add more value to this sector, so he established the dynamic Draft-Air.

Over the years, Draft-Air has carved out a unique expertise which has propelled the organisation amongst the top ranking comprehensive climate control solution providers in the country. Draft-Air is also one of the most reliable names in providing textile air- conditioning, waste collection, dust/ extraction system and similar solutions. An ISO 9001-2008 company, Draft-Air has been providing design, engineering, manufacturing, supplying, erection and commissioning of air engineering system since last 30 years.

The focus on textile sector was strengthened with meticulous research based approach. The quest was to devise the perfect solution that would enrich the textile industry. Thus was born the Integrated Climate Control (ICC) and Integrated Waste Management (IWM) solutions, designed to meet stringent demands of air-conditioning and distribution, cleaning and waste handling in the whole production line.
