FAMSF is the beneficiary of the legendary Opening Night Gala, which will be held in person in 2023 at Fort Mason. FAMSF oversees two unique museums—the de Young in Golden Gate Park, showcasing priceless collections of American art from the 17th through the 20th centuries, textile arts, and art of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas, and the Legion of Honor in Lincoln Park, whose collections include European decorative arts and paintings, ancient art, and one of the largest collections of prints and drawings in the country.The San Francisco Fall Show is the leading international art, antiques, and design fair on the West Coast. Founded in 1982, the Show features over 40 of the top dealers from around the world, offering for sale an extraordinary range of fine and decorative arts representing all styles and periods, including paintings, furniture, precious metals, ceramics, jewelry, rugs, photography, works on paper, books, ethnographic art, and objets d’art.
