Creative Directors of Louis Vuitton:

1. Marc Jacobs (1997–2013) In 1997, Marc Jacobs stepped in as Creative Director for Louis Vuitton’s women’s collections, and wow! did he breathe new life into the brand! He catapulted LV into the world of high fashion, making it the ultimate mix of luxury and street-style cool.

2. Nicolas Ghesquiere (2013–Present)

When Marc Jacobs bid farewell in 2013, French designer Nicolas Ghesquiere took the reins as the creative head of Louis Vuitton’s women’s collections, ushering in a fresh, exciting chapter for the brand!

3. Virgil Abloh (2018–2021)

Virgil Abloh made history in 2018 when he was appointed as the Men’s Creative Director at Louis Vuitton, becoming the first Black artistic director at the brand. Abloh, who was also the founder of Off-White and worked closely with Kanye West, brought a streetwear sensibility to high fashion.

4. Pharrell Williams (2023–Present)

In 2023, American musician and designer Pharrell Williams took over as the Men’s Creative Director of Louis Vuitton, succeeding Virgil Abloh. Pharrell, known for his work with the Neptunes and his own fashion label Billionaire Boys Club, brings his unique blend of music, fashion, and art to the brand.
