POLYESTER FILAMENT YARN
(POY : PARTIALLY ORIENTED YARN)
Polyester Partially Oriented Yarn, commonly known as Polyester POY is the primary form of Polyester yarn. It is also known as Polyester Pre-Oriented Yarn. It is the first form of yarn made directly from PTA & MEG or by spinning Polyester PET Chips. POY is mainly used in texturizing to make textured yarn, also known as Polyester Drawn Textured Yarn (DTY). POY can also be used in draw warping for weaving and warp knitting of fabrics. It is used to make textured yarn, draw warping for weaving and warp knitting of fabrics.
The advantages include: POY is more durable, does not fade on exposure to sunlight or soap, has better abrasion resistance, drape and crease recovery properties, and is wrinkle resistant.
Polyester POY yarn is available in different lustre like Semi-Dull POY and Bright POY. The Bright POY has the shine in it due to the cross-sections in the filaments and so the fabric made from Bright POY also has the bright lustre.

(FDY: FULLY DRAWN YARN)
Fully Drawn Yarn (FDY) is produced by a process similiar to POY manufacturing except that the yarn is produced at higher spinning speeds coupled with intermediate drawing integrated in the process itself. This allows stabilisation through orientation and crystallization.
FDY is mainly used as weft or weaves in making fabrics. FDY can be knitted or woven with any other filament yarn to get fabric of various different varieties. It is mainly used in Home Furnishing Fabrics, Fashion Fabrics, Denim, Terry Towel and others.
FDY yarn is mainly available in 3 lustre - Semi-dull (SD), Bright (BR) having circular section & Triloble Bright (TBR) having triangular cross-sections. Filament yarn having trilobal bright lustre is widely used in making curtains, bed-sheets and carpets. FDY is available in Raw-white as well dope dyed. Dope Dyed FDY yarn can be used to make the colored fabric directly instead of making the fabric with FDY Raw-white first & then dyeing it

(DTY: DRAWN TEXTURED YARN)
Draw Texturised Yarn (DTY) is manufactured by texturising partially oriented yarn using texturising machines. Polyester DTY yarn is a continuous filament yarn that has been processed to introduce durable crimps twists, interlaces, loops or other fine distortions along the lengths of the filament. Yarns made from thermoplastic materials can be textured by heat setting in a twisted condition, which results in polyester DTY yarn of greater bulk, higher stretch, and more pleasing aesthetics.
Polyester DTY yarn can also be obtained in various colors by the dope dyed technology or by conventional dyeing. Dope dyed DTY is usually packed on paper bobbins whereas Raw White DTY which is used for dyeing is loosely packed on perforated plastic tube so that all the yarn can be easily dyed when the bobbin is dipped in color. DTY yarn can be in Semi Dull or Bright or Trilobal Bright depending upon the type of sections of filaments.
DTY is suitable for fabric end uses like outer/inner garments, skin-clinging garments, furnishings, upholstery, etc. This is a replacement of cotton and cotton blend yarns with very low moisture content.

POLYESTER HIGH TENACITY YARN (HTY)
The filaments of the high tenacity yarn preferably have a cross-section having 5 to 8 vertices, possibly with indentations between the vertices. The high tenacity yarn preferably has a tenacity of 60 to 85 cN/tex, an elongation at break of 15% to 35%, a hot-air shrinkage of 4% to 10% and a stretch recovery of 250 to 400 cN/tex.High Tenacity yarn is also available in different variant like normal shrinkage, low shrinkage & super low shrinkage depending upon the suitable end-use. The high tenacity yarn is excellently suited for use in the manufacture of industrial fabrics, particularly airbag fabrics. High tenacity yarns have been used in the manufacture of textiles, carpets & tarpaulin. high tenacity yarns has high durability, toughness and chemical resistance, and withstands extremely hot environments that can stress conventional multi-filaments to their performance limits. |
POLYESTER SPUN YARN (PSY)
Polyester Spun yarn mainly used for knitting & weaving to make polyester fabrics. It is also used in making sewing thread & embroidery thread. Spun Yarn can be waxed which is used for knitting fabrics or un-waxed mainly used for weaving.

POLYESTER STAPLE FIBRE
Polyester Staple Fibre (PSF) is kind of Polyester Fibre widely used in spinning non-woven. Types of PSF are 100% Virgin PSF, Recycled PSF, Semi Dull, Bright, Hollow Conjugated Siliconized (HCS), Slick, Optical White Dope Dyed PSF. Polyester Staple Fibre (PSF) is kind of Polyester Fiber made directly from PTA & MEG or PET Chips which is known as Virgin PSF and from Recycled PET Bottle Flakes which is known as re-cycled PSF. PSF is mainly classified as Solid & Hollow Polyester staple fiber. Hollow PSF can also have some properties like Conjugated, Siliconized, Slick and Dry PSF. Depending on the lustre, PSF can be classified as Semi Dull and Bright. Dope dyed PSF can also be obtained in Optical White, Black and several colors. Polyester Staple Fibre is available in different Deniers with different cut-lengths and in Semi Dull and Optical Bright luster.

PET CHIPS (BOTTLE GRADE)
PET Resin, also known as Polyester Chips or Polyethylene Terephthalate Chips. Bottle Grade PET Chips are low processing temperature, wide scope in processing, excellent transparency and high in finished product rate. End use of PET Bottle grade resin is mainly depends on the Intrinsic Viscosity (IV). PET Resin are made of PTA & MEG. We supply following PET resins. PET IV 0.80 +/- 0.02– For Water Bottle / PET Sheet PET Chips with IV 0.80- For drinking water bottles & mineral water bottles.
